As an account manager you are responsible for the development and account penetration within your defined account portfolio (existing and new). You are results-oriented and able to identify opportunities at all relevant levels within your account. This is done by means of account plans in which strategic, tactical & operational plans are integrated. Tasks & responsibilities • Executes the Sales strategy for the NH Hotels • Monitor performance of the account portfolios and sales figures and take actions accordingly • First point of contact for all commercial concerns towards the Hotel Directors, Revenue Management, Reservations and Operations • Analysis of the current market situation and competitors • New customers acquisition and support of national and international customer relations • Strategic positioning of the team in consultation with the Regional Director of Sales The Netherlands • Bringing cooperation with reservations, revenue and operations to the next level • Maintain and develop the RFP’s together with the National & International Sales Offices • Client retention of key accounts all managed segments • Participates in sales calls with members of the on-property and/or off-property sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business. • Contribute to the yearly budget-, sales and property action plans • Be present and visible for our guest/client and staff in moments where it matters (site inspections, commercial visits, events, etc) • You have a pro-active business approach and commercial focused • You are ambitious to achieve optimal results • As an ambassador of the NH Hotel Group you are representative and professional and you have excellent communication skills • You are a self-motivator and you take initiatives to create business opportunities • Networking is your nature and you are able to create opportunities to further develop the partnership with your clients • We see you as a professional, enthusiastic, authentic and inspirational colleague and you are a true asset to our team Requirements? • Graduate from a Commercial education or Hotel Management school on Bachelor level. • Minimum of 4 years Sales experience in the Hotel and/or Event industry • No 9 to 5 mentality • Client and result focused • Fluent written and verbal communication of Dutch and English In this position you are working for NH Hotel Group; a professional and international hotel chain.
